Description
Molar Spreaders 19″
Sometimes it becomes necessary to remove a tooth; horses’ teeth, however, are not easy to extract because they are up to 10cm long and very well attached to the socket. Oral extraction is performed first by loosening it and then pulling it out from the socket.
Spreaders are used for loosening teeth prior to extraction. Our spreaders are very effective in intra-oral cheek tooth extractions. These are used to loosen the affected cheek tooth in a caudal-to-rostral and rostral-to-caudal direction. The spreader is applied in inter-dental space and until it is closed sufficiently. Gradual and controlled pressure break down the periodontal ligaments and intra-oral extraction become easy.
Our Spreaders are Universal; these can be used for both upper and lower Molars. Made of high-grade Stainless Steel, Box joint for extra strength and knurled handles for optimum grip even when wet.
